My wife, Jodi in the past tended to pick on me because I had a cell phone to answer calls, a laptop to get my email and a palm pilot (I used the Zire 71) to organize appointments, phone numbers, etc.

Now, after my recent purchase of the Palm Treo 650, I no longer am dependent on all of my "tech gagets". You see, my new treo does it all. It’s a cell phone, palm pilot and laptop all in one. I receive emails while I’m driving in the car, I can go to mapquest.com to get directions in the car, etc. because it has wireless internet. It also is an mp3 player, sound recorder, camcorder, digital camera, etc.

The downfalls that I have found? There’s a few… I use a leather belt case and if I pull the treo from the case too quickly and it pushes a button or two the call will answer before I get a chance to see who’s calling me.

With the palm I use a bluetooth headset, but if you had to actually put this phone up to your ear you’d get an 80’s flashback. It’s not exactly the smallest thing.

Anyway, if you’re looking to have less gadgets and more organization… I would highly recommend the Treo
