So today Jodi, Jodi’s friend and I took the boys to Kitchen Kettle Village to get their 2 year old pictures taken. You can see them at the link below:

2 Year Pictures of the Boys
The boys first time in the snow!
OK.. so it didn’t snow a lot. But that’s ok… Emily and Haley couldn’t wait to get the boys outside. They didn’t stay outside long, though… too cold!

Wow - So Busy!
So much has happened since the last time I had an opportunity to write. There’s a new project launch happening right now at work, so time to update has been scarce. I have decided that I will be updating with smaller posts more regularly to get you caught up on everything. So, in the upcoming days you will see posts on…
- The Web Xtreme Christmas Party that we had at Media Heights Country Club.
- All of the crazy family christmas stuff we did this year.
- The Christmas Church Drama that Emily and Haley were in.
- Pictures from our New Years Celebration
I may just put all of those into one big “Holiday’s with the Conklin’s - 2006″ slide show. Anyway, here’s a couple of pics that I threw together quick.

Emily, Haley and their cousin Alayna just being themselves.

Christmas 2006 will always be known as “The Year of Elmo”

Jodi’s Grandfather (Pap) playing the guitar for the kids.
COOKIES!!!
The other night Emily, Haley and Jodi made christmas cookies! I had to keep Matt and Marc under control. - Here’s some pics!

“Dog-sitting”
We are dog sitting our friends dog, Baxter, this evening and when Stephanie dropped him off I got some shots of her and her son Lucas as well as a few of the boys.

I got some great face shots of Matt and Marc… this is one and here are the other two…
Thanksgiving in Quarryville!
My Aunt Marie has always hosted our family Thanksgiving in New York at her place. This year they came down here though and Jodi was in charge of the preparations… and she did a wonderful job! The food was delicious and it was great to have family together. Jodi had never cooked a turkey before but it turned out incredible. Thanks to all of you who gave us the "turkey advice"!
Here’s everybody in our dining room:
Matt and Marc have this thing now where the go through everyone’s legs… so if you come over, heads up!
When it was all over, the boys were completely beat.
Getting the hang of it…
Ok, I read a lot more on the internet today and am figuring this camera out. I got some great pics of the boys today. Here’s one, but there’s more in the photo album.
Pictures at Legion Park
I took the kids to the park after work today so I could get to know my new camera a bit more. I’m still not 100% comfortable with it, but I’m slowly learning. I think I have the post-production thing down. I just need to figure out how to take sharper pictures. Maybe a tripod would do the trick. Click on the image below to see some of the pictures I took of the kids.
My new hobby!
I am extremely excited! I drove to Circuit City in Delaware (Gotta save the sales tax) today and finally purchased my new Canon Rebel XTI and an additional lens. Holy cow there’s a lot to learn! I sat in my living room and read the entire manual to the thing. I think I kinda have it figured out. I’m looking forward to taking all kinds of pictures. Here are some of the first ones I took. Keep in mind that I’m still learning.
