Trip to the beach

Category: Travel, Photography, Business Life — Dave Conklin @ 12:12 am

Rory, Steve and I went down to North Wildwood to take care of some things with a condo the other day. You can find out more about the condo here.

I took my first panaramic picture while we were there. It didn’t turn out incredible, but it’s my first, so I’ll share… Click here if you would like to see it. Keep in mind that it’s a pretty big file and you’ll have to scroll across to see the whole thing.  If you can see the whole thing on your screen, click it again and it will zoom to full size.
I got some other pictures as well…

Rory and I thought that maybe we could roast some marshmallows on the gas stove. Steve came out a moment later and told us it would cost too much to do that. 8 )

I don’t think that I have been on the beach more than 2-3 times as an adult… Rory gave me some tips.

Day Trip To Chesapeake City, MD

Category: Travel, Family — Dave Conklin @ 7:46 pm

Photo_072605_002.jpgI took the day off today to spend some time with Jodi and the boys. Emily and Haley went to SECA camp, as they do every year over the summer for a week. I think it’s good for them because they need to know how to kill with their bare hands and that’s what they teach them at camp. Just kidding…

Anyway, Jodi and I used Google Maps to find a neat place to go. We decided to follow a Southern trip and after about 1.5 hours of driving we came to Chesapeak City.

It was a neat town. They had a lot of shops and restaurants. It was entirely too hot though, so we didn’t walk arond outside a whole lot. While we were eating, Marcus and Matthew sat in their first high chair… so exciting!
